Selected by Ian Hylands - Every now and then I see a shot from a year or so ago and wonder why it was never POD. This shot is sick. So much style on this hip... And the light is nice as well which definitely makes the photo stand out.
sorry to say but is so nice out here in southern california. i was out riding all day. i was tell all my friends about how we dont even know how nice we really have it.
I like the unfocused plants in the foreground. It makes it look like we are peeking through a hole in the foliage and catching a glimpse of an endangered species on a nature show.
EXCELLENT shot. There is a lot going on in the photo - nice green to the left and right, perfect lighting, a ton of air, and that wooden drop in the back gives it a lot of depth.
if you know the track as you say then you would know that 'bush to the right' is actually before the upramp, and in between the upramp and downramp is a massive gumtree which has probably shadowed the rider a bit.
Isn't it your photo? So you should actually know if the gum tree shadowed the rider when it was taken. If you look at another photo you have taken on the same jump the rider is lower and but around the same position and has the sun on him. It's a great photo but the rider is way to small for the photo as well as the height of the rider just does not make sense for that jump
With photoshop or not don't mean that is not a great image about our sport, and a litle change in the colours don't kill anyone A great POD with a Giant Glory *.* sweat dream bike Its my fave
yeah pretty sure its photshopped, i know the jump and pretty sure you couldnt boost that high off it. The rider also looks like he's floating before the sender
If you hit it right you get that high, no problem. Just have a go and stop complaining about the photo. Try spending more time riding and less time infront of the computer screen.
Sawnoff666 is 100% correct, photo-shopped or not photo-shopped this is a great shot and a great trail, I built this jump and you can boost that high if you hit it right!
