I love this photo, its about lifestyle not just the actual riding, its well taken and interesting! Think about how many jump photos there have been - originality is good.

I pretty sure its just fun and a cool picture and get the f**k over it and that it doesnt all ways have to be riding. Its abit of FUN understand that word? thats the feeling You have when You ride Your bike

it makes sense that people are gunna dislike it. yeah its a sweet picture, i think its cool, but it doesnt make me wanna go ride. it makes me want to walk my dog.

You guys realize that the more you wine, the more it inspires the MOD's to give you not so great pods right? Besides bashing on the photo isn't going to convince them to change the picture until tomorrow, so quit wasting your own time and live with it.

Shred-NZ. It's POD because it's an original shot of biking instead of some dh guy railing a berm, or a dj'er doing a backflip. Do you see this scenario everyday? No? Exactly...shaaaaaddup.

i swear the mod's choose photos like this just to see how much all you weiners get pissed off. it's a funny photo that looks good. the mods obviously thought it looked cool so they chose it for everyone to see when they come on the site. there's nothing wrong with a change up here or there, even if it's something as simple as a dog, or a rubber ducky.. this is a dope POD. i'm even gonna add it to my favorites.. all you haters get over yourselves and find something productive to do faaaakkkk

why arent u out the riding or photo shooting to try and get pod ur self.
the last few days pods are great examples of the RIDING LIFESTYLE which by the looks of it is loosing direction with newer riders these days.

I was fishing once and caught a dog too. I brought the dog home and named it trout. One day a few years later me and my dog "trout" when fishing together. As we sat on the dock pondering life a huge fish jumped out of the water and pulled trout back in. I was in total shock then after a few hours of crying i started walking home alone. I was almost home when i realized that "trout" wasnt a dog at all but a huge fish that looked like a dog. Then i felt a huge sense of relief and thought wow that was one cool fish.

And to all the people who have hated on this POD, have you ever actually taken the time to find out what POD and pinkbike is all about or have you just made an assumption in your head because youve only seen riding POD's. If you get angry over one picture on a website with millions of pictures, good luck with life cos no one in the real world would put up with your sh*t.

Because when that hound gets a hold of that meat there's no telling which way the rider is going to get yanked! He'll be lucky if that fine looking beast doesn't yank his arm out of socket trying to shake that meat loose from the fishing pole!
Personally, I like it. Well captured fun. And even if I didn't like it I wouldn't think it was nearly as annoying as everyone posting what they think should be POD. Get over it. Get over yourselves.

u know this is an awesome POD, super original and up lifting too, i think everyone is stoked on it, but everyones upset cos they didnt think of it theirselves first, seeing comp pics and rad shots of berms is always epic, but hey mtn biking is all about FUN, and im glad pinkbike made this POD cos i think most of these folks forgot mtn biking is all about fun, kickin it with your friends or in this case man's best friend

I think maybe the attempt was to portray the dog pulling the bike/rider by dangling a piece of meat in front of it. What's missing is a rope attached to the dog's harness and tied to the bike; and most importantly should have been on a trail as the backdrop instead of a parking lot at a rest stop on the side of a road. ehh Fail -- on many dimensions!!!
