 I would advise against it. Rigid fork on an aluminum frame is not a smart combination.

 I'm still diggin' it. But ever since you told me how much you like your Float over your 4X I've been thinking twice about it. Especially because one of my friends needs a fork and wants my 4X haha.

 Ahh I see haha But yeah, my Float feels like a rigid when I'm riding around but when I go jump it sucks up so nicely. Plus its wayyy nicer to set up than the 4X, as in the rebound. I took forever setting up my 4X and it still topped out a bit with a clunk.

 That sounds so perfect. Yea, I can't quite get the top out to disappear either :/

 goood, you shouldnt have had to try so hard to beat a kona. if you wanted lighter you could always try tubeless. my front finally sealed, the back blew up so i have a 1" tube in it
