 fackin' tasty. Well colourschemed!

Hows brakeless working for you?? I tryed it and fackin' hated it on my void. It takes like 20m to stop and at the end of a run I WILL hit a tree.
  • 1 0
Cheers! And I love it! There are a few times when having a brake would make some tricks alot easier, but I can cope without them. Brakeless has also made me alot better at guaging my speed for stuff, so it can give you a better overall bike handling ability!
  • 1 0
Yeah, it's fackin' fantastic til you bang your head on a big ol' tree.
  • 1 0
 I don't do dirt, so that's not an issue:P
  • 1 0
pillar then, or a bin, or a scary homeless man.
  • 1 0
I'll give you £300-£33- for whole bike mate
  • 2 0
If you could read, you moron, then you would be able to understand that all that's for sale is THE FRAME.

Thats so sick.. but i prefer the ns capital with a rigid fork ; )
And this forks in you bike will broke because its not 20mm axxle
  • 1 0
I'm a light rider, who doesn't go stupidly big, so they're fine for now.
If the lowers break I can always got hold of some 20mm Pike/Argyle lowers and run them instead.
  • 2 0
sweet but i dont get why youd use rebas over pikes or argyles!
  • 1 0
because they are way lighter and if your not a hack there fine Wink
  • 1 0
 *Miles lighter*
  • 1 0
Well I wanted to keep my Profile Mini front hub (although I was well on the way to figuring out how to convert it to 20mm), but mainly because I got them brand new from eBay for 200 posted...
  • 1 0
 Holy shit!
  • 1 0
 wow Smile
  • 1 0
oh i just didnt think theyd hput up with hard reding, especiall with quick release too
  • 3 0
For £200 you would have to be some kind of crazy fool not to pick up a pair of dual air rebas. And you would have to land pretty damned hard to snap them - there not made of cheese.
  • 1 0
and if u really feel the need, just bolt 20 mill argyle or pike lowers onto them Rolleyes boom insta 20mm reba Rolleyes
  • 1 0
 That was the new plan!
  • 1 0
nice:P means you could colour match your lowers to your frame lol Indian turquoise ftw lol
  • 1 0
T'is Medicene green (same thing, but NS not wanting to sound like they were ripping off Xavier):P

And this bike is completely differant now, jsut waiting on my frame and I'll have the British version of Sherbets FapitalWink
  • 1 0
ahhhhh i would have kept the medicine green/ indian turq but thats meWink
  • 1 0
I would have preffered to keep the medi green, but wanted brakes and preffer U's over anything!
  • 1 0
paint the new frame to match?
  • 1 0
If I was gonna paint it, it would more than likely just go gloss black for simplicitys sake!
Colour schemes get too boring too fast for melol
  • 1 0
 lmao lol
  • 1 0
didnt think bmx hubs worked on mtb forks
  • 1 0
as long as the spacing is 10x100 it does
  • 1 0
Yeah, as although the dropouts are supposed to be 9mm: It's ONE little millimeter!
  • 1 0
9.5 actualy Wink so only .5 of a mm Razz
  • 1 0
is actually 3/8 of an inch Smile
  • 1 0
That's within tolerance of the 9.5mm that he statedWink
  • 1 0
I just bought these forks, same colour and all Smile hope they hold up.
  • 1 0
May be an assumption, so feel free to correct me. But you're probably younger/shorter/lighter than me, so I think you'll be fine!
  • 1 0
I'm 14, 5ft 9" and don't weigh alot, so hopefully they wil hold up, plus my dad does fork servicing!
  • 1 0
They'll be fine! Servicing is a breeze aswell, you just need the right tools, oil and the Sram guide.
  • 1 0
 Cool!
  • 1 0
what spokes are they and whats the cap like with sus and which do you prefer - sus or rigid?
  • 1 0
Just plain Halo ones that I got from Billys.co.uk for 25p a spoke (and nipple).
I preffer it by miles with sus (feels good at either 60, 80 or 100mm to me) as it's alot eiser to get airborn do to the higher front end and more pop from the sus.
Tried my rigids on a few weeks ago and it was lame by comparison!
  • 1 0
wish this was mine Frown i want one soooo bad, think id prefer it over a bmx so much more
  • 1 0
Cheers! Was really nice around this stageSmile
Why don't you build something up slowely?
Alot of deals to be had on the net if you're not in a rush!
  • 1 0
got other more important bikes to be sorting out or buying, i use my bikes to get litraly everywhere, i like them to do it very well, but when i can get a better job i can afford such a sexy thing though Smile
  • 1 0
 Fair enough!
I really fancey a beater/fixie bike for when I wanna ride to town, so I don't have to leave my good bike chained up outside a shop. Whenever I look into it I always get distracted by something else that I wanna upgrade on my bike, thoughFrown
  • 1 0
realy recormend one, litraly halfed the time to get anywhere now i use one,(used to use my bmx, 28:9 ratio) i do go fast though
but if you ever want advice on building or buying one, im ya man! be glad to help
  • 1 0
With that ratio I can believe that you did!
Must have had some man chain snappages though?
I'll see how much one would come in handy after I've passed my driving test and go from there! Still fancey giving the whole fixie thing a go regardlessBig Grin
  • 1 0
only snapped one chain, that was painfull on the right knee....
i ment i do go fast on my fixie though, i beat most roadies! Razz but i did haul ass on my bmx to

just get a fixie, with the right one you will love it!
  • 1 0
Surprising, as ratios that hard really do test the tensile strength of a chain! I always try to own a roadie, but I always give up xD I'll see how it goes! Would be as interesting change for sure!
  • 1 0
thats nothing man, i use the same chain on my fixed gear wich is a 46:14 ratio, and i skid at 35mph on that sometimes, that puts way more stress on the chain, most fixed gears have bmx chains or simler
  • 1 0
Your chain must hate you a fair bit!
  • 1 0
probly, but its quite normal, chris hoys chain must reeeeealy hate him! (google chris hoys legs if you dont know what im on about)
  • 1 0
 Wha'da'fuuuuuuu'?! O______o
  • 1 0
haha i guess you seen the pic then, he has thicker legs than victoria beckams waist, seriusly.
  • 2 0
 Dayum!
  • 1 0

  • 1 0
 My thoughts exactly Wink
  • 1 0
very vey nice park /street to feck !! good job
  • 1 0
how much for frame and bars ?
  • 1 0
 £225.
And how light is what?
Forks are 1600g and the rear spokes are 240g.
Pays to be specific!
  • 1 0
how much for the ful ting
  • 1 0
 £2000.
  • 1 0
 please tell me your joking
  • 1 0
Considering the whole thing isn't for sale, you were bound to get a dumb answer.
I would have to build a whole new bike out of the "reasonable price" I would get for it, which would be a shit spec in comparison.
The price I asked was what it's worth to me, even if it is stupidly over the top.
  • 1 0
chill yoursw beans so you want 200 for the frame
  • 1 0
Ignore me, I'm overly harsh at the best of times. And yeah, although I was probably gonna start dropping the price in a few weeks.
  • 1 0
ok humm im thinking of building a dj bike just depending on the news of the sale of my forks tommorow so i will be able too let you know tommorow sometime hopefully
  • 1 0

  • 1 0
Rockshox Reba SL Dual airs, and the retail is around £300-400 I think.
  • 1 0
 they look amazing. thanks
  • 1 0
Any dints? And what's the minimum you would take?
  • 1 0
*note to self* learn to read Facepalm
  • 1 0
Think it's already sold mate, but if the other guy doesn't have it then I'm selling the frame (inc BB and pivotal post) for £160.
  • 1 0
Wow, that's a good price, hope it sells Salute
  • 1 0
wer do u get those tires that big?
  • 1 0
 Chainreactioncycles.com
  • 1 0
 is it 26"?
  • 1 0
what front hub are you running on this?
  • 1 0
 Profile Mini, female axled
  • 1 0
did you need new cones to fit it on your fork or is the spacing the same? just asking because i want to run a bmx hub on my fork
  • 1 0
 Spacing is the same.
BMX front hubs are 100mm wide (same as MTB, 15/10mm/QR front hubs).
BMX rear hubs are 110 wide (same as MTB 20mm front hubs)
  • 1 0
so i can fit a bms hub on my qr fork?
  • 1 0
 Yesss.
  • 1 0
sweet. thanks, wasnt too sure so i figured id ask before i went out and got a hub
  • 1 0
Never hurts to ask! Always happy to help.
