That, sir, is a gold plastic cap which is lighter than the alloy Purely Custom one, and I don't do valve collars because they always come loose while you're riding. DUH!

 I had these gold plastic caps sitting around for a few years and they just happened to match, so I'm unlikely to order new caps when these work fine. Plus I can't put any more money into the bike, I have to pay it off first.

 First of all, it's 9-speed. Secondly, I much much much prefer the way that Shimano cassettes shift.
