wow rattbones your such a retard if any one died by drinking energy drinks there would be law suits up the companies ass and recalls like you've never seen before. why dont you think about what your typing before you post it....faggot
Not very bright are you there Kongy? When was the last time you heard of an alcohol manufacturer being sued for some one dying of alcohol poisoning? When was the last time Budweiser put out a recall on it's product? For some one telling some one else to "think before they type", you sure don't practice this yourself. Energy drinks contribute to things like renal failure (which causes death). Norway and Denmark have even banned red bull from it's shelves. The reason why is because energy drinks don't have to disclose all the ingredients as a loophole through current laws and regulations regarding food and drugs. Mainly because different herbs are used. What is common in ALL energy drinks is a substance called taurine which blocks the brain's signal to let you know your tired or sleepy. It also has ill effects on the skeletal system, and causes muscle damage. This brings me to the second most common cause of death linked to energy drinks. Heart failure. The reason why Norway, and Denmark have banned the product was simply because of the death rate associated with the drink. I believe Switzerland has a ban on the drinks as well due to the amount of deaths linked to the drinks. Quite honestly Kongy, you have access to the internet, and I'm pretty sure you have a television. There's no reason you shouldn't know any of this. Hell, just a few weeks ago a woman collapsed and died at a bar after drinking three Redbulls. It was all over the news for quite some time. You have the information at your fingertips man, there's no reason for you t be ignorant.
I think it's funny that energy drinks contain two very addictive substances in them. With that, people crave them and drink them unknowingly addicted. Same with soda drinkers. Then when you go to any skateboard, bmx, mtb, or sports event there's people pestering you every ten feet you walk saying "hey, you want a free Monster?".
Just like a drug dealer on a corner...... The first few are free. Then people overdose and die.
it says right on the back of the monster can how much you should drink. it says on the smaller ones NOT to consume more then 2 a day, and only drink them as needed. anyone who goes and drinks like 50 in an hour is looking for trouble. i have at least 2 a week, and i do just fine. and i dont drink them in the morning with a full day of work ahead of me. if you do that, then you will most likely faint/colapse.
all i know is they taste good, and when someone comes to me and says "oh that shits bad for you" im just like "yeah well so are cigarettes, alcohal and coffee, and people do all that shit quite frequently"
id imagine its becuase of the fact that it is illegal is why not as many people die from it. sure its popular, but not as popular as alcohal and tabaco. plus you get addicted to those 2 things which makes you do it more often.
@ziegele ya i agree with you on monster being overrated now like everyone puts stickers of it on their sh*t. and the black and green is really getting overrated now as well!
