so dope i just got a green rogue in 2010 with 40s but thats way more practical for all around riding that can hit huge stuff i bet nice rig man /salute and ict is the best suspension ever i love it on rock gardens and drops and roots and down bumpy shoots

Kinda looks like a kona.. Just better :p

Yes they both do have a 4-bar suspension system however the Ellsworth has the patented ICT (instant center tracking) 4-bar linkage which neutralizes all braking and pedaling forces making for a ride like no other. OMG this is the fastest full suspension bike I have ever ridden, it snaps out of corners like you could not imagine

ICT = FSR, only reason Elsworth gets away with it cause they have a 30% steak in specialized...

You know nothing! That was by far the dumbest comment I have ever heard on pink bike! For starters Ellsworth and Specialized have nothing to do with each other and secondly the ICT patent is for the axle path you jackass. Its retards like you that fill the internet with incorrect info, so just stop. Fucking clueless 17yr old kid

excuse me i WORKED at my local spesh dealer last year, the rep made FREQUENT visits... its still FSR/horst link. I wasn't bagging on the bike i was just sayin, its actually quite nice but based on the picture given its not any different than a FSR/horst link bike. sorry if i came across like a know it all im just basing my conclusion on the photo given. and yes they do have a steak in specialized, a few years back they had a bike VERY similar to the Specialized Epic, brain shock and everything.

not ranting, not trying to be a know it all, just pointing out what shop owner had said to many people, and what he was told by the rep.

Pls just stop, you are obvisouly very confused

i fail to see how im confused,

the FSR/horst linkage, is that when the pivot is on the chain stay, and the drop outs are attached to the seat stays. If im so wrong please tell me how ICT is different. Rather than "ICT patent is for the axle path you jackass." and "you are obvisouly very confused".... for being 7 years older than me you seem to be lacking the ability to use full words(pls is not a word sir) and seem to like swearing alot Blank Stare

Ok since your so smart lets use an analogy to help you better understand exactly how you are confused. Based on your wacky logic VPP, Maestro and DW Link are all the same thing. Intense and Santa Cruz would have a "stake" in Turner and Giant etc... You see, all of these bikes have the rear of the bike fixed to the front triangle by two different links. Are you following me? Do you understand that all of these suspension designs differ in pivot location and therefore everything is changed (wheel path, shock rate, instant center etc.) Thats why they have different patents. If your still confused I get it you a naive 17yr old kid.

And dont you think I know "pls" is not a word its an abbreviation? I mean come on, are you really trying to diss me on that? haha Thanks for making me laugh

to be blunt maestro and the DW link are the same, they work on the same principal, santa cruz's VPP/VPP2 work on the premise of a counter rotating link.

now that ive taken the time to further look into it yes ICT is a different patent ill take and admit my wrong there, but the bike still uses Specialize's patented FSR(Horst link) where the rear triangles pivot is on the chain stay.

im done arguing never meant for it to be an argument, ive riden MANY FSR bikes, and ive riden the dare and the glimpse on a demo day this past summer, both the dare and the demo pedaled about the same(set up for my weight) and the glimpse and the pitch pedaled about the same, neither really out performed the other so it really doesnt matter sorry for crashing ur party train

but again the bike is VERY nice and im going to fav it still...

and ive looked farther into the whole owner ship deal...

elsworth and spesh are both owned by the same parent company(big group of investors really) hense why you wont find a sticker saying "patented fsr link bla blah blah" like you do on every norco going.
