would this work as a sort of bottom out control like those 2stage bikes? you just put more air in one that the other and it would ramp up when the other side is fully compressed

That may work, but the one that's gonna be bottoming first would have to be built to take the abuse of repeated bottoming

well there would only be a very slight difference so it wouldnt bottom one harshly before the other

but if you have them as close as possable to the same preasure, then it wouldn't be as harsh as if there's a big difference in preasure.
