Sadly I no longer own this but it was my 2010 Cove Shocker that had a Fox RC4 Shock, Fox 40 RC2 World Champion Fork, Mavic DeeMax Wheelset, Hope M4 Brakes, Sram X0 Drivetrain, e13 LG1 Chainguide, Truvativ Holzfeller Cranks & Direct Mount Stem, Chromag OSX Bars, Crank Brother Mallet Pedals, Maxxis Tires (tubeless), Thomson Elite Seat Post, SDG Ti Fly Seat, ODI Intense Grips
It's definitely worth it. It completely changed the way the bike rode. You can plow through and over anything while keeping a straight line where as without if you'd be bouncing and twisting your bars all over the place. It's great for downhill racing and it may be a little bit of extra weight on your bike but I'd recommend it
would like to try one for sure, though i do like how free bars weave through the tight stuff. would deffo use one on long alpine runs and things like the mega avalanche to save me some effort!
Once you try one you'll love it and will definitely be wanting one. The nice thing about having it is that you dont always have to be using it, with the spin of a knob on the top of the headtube you can adjust how hard it is to turn. You can have it cranked all the way on so your bars cant twist at all or you can back it off a bit to where theres some tension in twisting the bars or you can back it right off to where its not even working
