When the seat is raised to the top, it goes up much better than I expected. It has a quite short upper and seat tube so the bike is very agile. You're really sitting in the center of the bike. The slack head angle and relatively long chain stays stabilize it. The damper does a good job, the rear bobs very little, yet is sensitive. I love it .
