cause its dam friggen cool. big bikes for big kids. unlike dinky bmx, no offence but a bigger bike for street is clearly more respectful. thus why bmxers are 10 times more amaizing at ridding. respect.
I ride mtb's, not bmx's but for this sort of shit a bmx makes so much more sense. Its so much easier to chuck around. Surely by running such a bit bike for street its just a hinderence? Makes no sense to me.. apart from hating the size of a bmx I guess, but then at least 24"s haha
Less you forget that BMX bikes were not designed for street riding either. It just evolved that way. This whole philosophy that street riders should ride a BMX bike instead is just so damn retarded! Yes, a MTB is harder to throw around. That's why the respect factor is higher. Like you said, it's far easier to throw around a little clown bike. That's why there are thousands of kids out there that are really good at it. Because it's easy.
i agree with konakronik but his name does have kona in name so hes probably goin off guesses since he obviously doesnt know much about good bike companies or biking in general
whats wrong with kona? they are a great company. just like norco and giant. i dont understand why ppl put these companies down so much. they produce large varieties of bicycles at amazing prices. sure they aren't sheek companies like foes, orange, turner, evil, intense, santa cruz, blah blah blah. but price point wise they are phenomenal bikes. my first bikes were norco 125s, norco 250s, and a norco aline. and they treated me really well without breaking the bank.. amen to that. obviously now ive wanted a little more of a sheik and rare bike, so yeah i ride a few oranges and a jackal. but i still have great respect for norco, kona giant since they aloud me to get into the sport.
