Another poor POD. The rider dont stand out enough, frames too big and the 1st thing to catch my eye is the horrificly big water mark.

Have to agree with some of the word of bikebreaker. The trick was sick but the photo isn't good enough to take the pod title...I can barely see the bike because of the landscape and the logo is too big! Good photo but not pod worthy... Anyway, sick 360, really dumped!

I do appreciate the crit bikebreaker, i felt the same way about the rider not standing out enough. after looking at the shot i was going to set up my flashes but then my battery died soo next time haha. As for the watermark its big for a reason, I've had people use my photos in articles by taking them directly off pinkbike with no permission.

I dunno if the laws are the same, but here, you can claim monies from them if they nick pictures. Anywhere from £50 for a tiny pic, to £150 to a full page in a newspaper.

bikebreaker, maybe you should learn proper grammar before you start ripping up people's pics. The rider could stand out more, but it's a solid composition and a sweet move. Having a big watermark is completely legit; I see a lot of photos with big watermarks right through the images, and for good reason.
Almost every POD has someone ripping up the picture or the rider. Unless you can outshoot the photographer and outride the rider, shut up and enjoy people sharing their work with pinkbike.
