Looks beautiful, the renderings are gorgeous. I hate to point this our though. Thes look a lot like a fusion of the new and old Giant Riegn X frame '07-'10 Save for the chain roller and the the top link that looks like its off a IH Sunday. Just saying.
Most frames tend to look like a mix of others. Aesthetics wise i just made it up as I went along, didnt do any sketches or anything. Ended up as a Banshee, lappierre, giant fusion in my opinion.
Looks like the bike would rip, but the pivot around the bb makes it more like a floating swing arm if you understand what I mean, say your riding the bike and you bottom out, would that pivot not cause the chain ring+guide etc to hit the ground, or you know about the sessions how the downtube gets dented quite easily, but because that pivot could possibly lower the bb even more, would cause much more damage to the downtube from a rock, than the session to it's downtube? Not offending you or anything, just a question, cause this frame seems like it would be great but I don't know the angles measurements etc.
Its hard to if that would be an issue without building it. I highly doubt it'd be worse than any other bike out there for it though. And the area that tends to get dented on dh frames etc, has the replaceable carbon guard, so not a huge issue I dont think.
just remeber, the welds will ruin the look, almost every single fillet you have at a joint will increase your expectation for the actual look, better to rid of those, leave em sharp, like they have been cut, so when you build it, its looks even better...
Nope. Maestro uses its linkages to create a virtual pivot point that sits around the chainline. This design uses the links to create a good axle path and leverage ratios. The idler is there to reduce chain growth.
