i Cant help but think a faster shutter would have made this pic. that is the only thing the slight bit of movement

It would have made it different if that's what you mean. This was shot at 1/1000th, and personally I like the small amount of motion blur. I played with making it even slower, but liked this the best. It is more suggestive this way, it's not meant to be a perfectly crisp shot of a bike where you can read every logo, it's about the speed and the ride, the corner, the trail itself...

1/1000th Faaack fair play, it does show motion which tells a story and now that i know it was taken at 1/1000th i know he was hauling

yeah he's also only about a foot from the camera and it's hard to freeze anything that close if it's moving quickly...

this picture is epic! just imagine it, first sunlight, cold, some hoarfrost on the grass, the smell of nature... and your bike to explore it all and enjoy the day... this has my vote for POD!!

You shoot with Nikon?? Finally someone else! Big Grin Do you use ND grad filters as well?

I do have a set of ND grad filters, haven't used them as much lately, and can't use them with the fisheye of course, but they are very useful sometimes. I use a Lee Filters kit
