I'll still be riding/racing DH next year, I have a '11 Demo 8 frame on order and gonna do a custom build. I'm keeping my tdh as well as putting my spare Boxxer Team back on the '09 Shore 3. I have a few kids that ride with me that would like to try DH and maybe even racing, so I'll have 2 spare bikes that they can use to see if they would enjoy it b4 they throw the cash to buy their own.
same old same old everyone copy everyone , cant figure out why nothing hew is coming out , kone, trek, commencal , evil, etc etc they all use the same besic desing for the main frame
What did you expect Every company to come up with crazy ass designs and new suspension systems every new season? I know it gets old but reality is that there are only a handfull of frame designs that work and that's what conpanies turn to before they can make something themselves
after more than 20 years i think the business is so saturated it will be hard to come up with something new i think we need to come back to the basic and start over anew
how is that a kona or a session copy, its not even the same suspension design, just because a bike has a rear shock in a vertical postion doesn't make it the same to any other bike?
No it's a floating shock just like the session. The only thing different then the session is the chain stay pivot placement. Tnd its not the 2012 team DH, it's just a prototype
its nothing like the kona operator nor the session, because all three bikes have different suspension leverage ratios, they honestly don't even look that much alike, go take a look on their sites. the only similarities would be the fork bumpers like trek session 88 and the tapered headtube like the kona operator, and maybe the headangle, but alot of DH bikes have same headangles.
