all theese losers who are saying its a peice of shit and isnt worth anything obviously do dont know the history of mountain biking.. like 5 10 years ago this bike was top of the line worth like 7000$ just because other companies have made new bikes doesnt mean this one doesnt work anymore

I bought my 2000 Cannondale Raven Volvo Team XTR in 2005, for $800 shipped...
VERY Used...
Needed chain & sprockets, which got replaced a year later, after riding 3 times a week - by then they were REALLY Shot...
Was still my favorite until the shock mount broke...
I still have it, but haven't gotten around to fixing it...
I ride my ÜberV (99 Cannondale SuperV with 6" F&R), Raven II, SlingShot FarmBoy 29er, LenzSport ProDescender DHR, or some other bike...
Yet, my 'new' favorite since '07, has been my '03 Yeti as-X, 7" 43#, DH Durable, yet CrossStuntry FUN!!!
The SuperNV, or ÜberV, is a very close second, and would have kept me happy all these years had I completed building before the Yeti as-X...
Too much time, fun and familiarity with the Yeti as-X, simply means it fits me like a nice comfortable durable rugged stylish pair of jeans

My Yeti as-X is on the maintenance & rebuild stand & bench...
My Cannondale SuperV turned 6" ÜberV is my new Favorite!
(for Daily CrossStuntry... My DownHill fav is GT iT1 or Balfa BB7 or LenzSport ProDescender)
At a rugged 31# build at less than $1300 last year (good clean 'used' parts)...
ÜberV is 95% as wonderful and agile as the
New '13 27# Cannondale Jekyll Carbon One...
If I made more money racing than it cost me to do so,
I would have the Jekyll Now!!!
The ÜberV doesn't have quite the same Wow!!!
Not quite as plush and nice...
Yet only 20% the price!!!
I may have to start using and Keep my Raven II, and use it for CrossCountry Racing!

 Seriously...
If you have not ridden a well tuned Cannondale Raven or SuperV or modified versions like the ÜberV...
You cannot knock it and sound reasonable or educated...
Especially if you like Stuntry, or CrossStuntry mixed in with All Mountain and rugged technical Cross Country, there are few bikes I like as much, and I have ridden WAY More Mountain Bikes than the 22 that I own...
Very few bikes have the agility and handling, yet simplicity and plethora of interchangeable parts, and NONE Have the same crotch clearance for those tricky stunts that do not go quite as envisioned...
One of the few bikes I would trade my ÜberV for, without hesitation, is a Nicolai Nucleon or Ion with the G-Boxx or Rohloff, or a Zerode or LenzSport PBJ or Cervelo P5 or the old Olympic Lotus Time Trial bike...

This bike is sick. Super Vs and Ravens were the shit back in the day. This bike is definitely worth it to someone that experienced the revolution of cross country and downhill. They started it all.
