Thank mate. It has taken a while to build but was worth it. The harest part was getting those rims but was worth the effort!

this is the nicest hardtail build i have ever seen, nice one mate, best its beast fast Smile

Thanks mate. Yeah it rides super quick on the pedals and still positive and stable in the air which is really nice. Running the rear chainstays all the way in gives a really responsive back end especially when manualing.

EX721's, anodised blue. As far as I know, you can only get them from Giant Glory's, unless you want to get some custom anodised.

 they are beautiful.

Yup Chamakazi is right!! You can only get them on the Giant Glory! Giant have them custom done for the Glory but i managed to get hold of a pair! Really look amazing on the bike in the flesh!

how does that badass of a bike ride? soooooooo nice!
  • 1 0
It rides really well. I was surprised at how solid it is. The back end is so responsive and quick off the mark! Even on a steep wet rooty downhill sections of the Forest of Dean it was really positive and gave a lot of feel so you can push harder.

 Weight?
  • 1 0
27lbs 9oz. I was aiming for arounf the 27lbs mark but not fussed about the 9oz as it feels so so much lighter and quicker than my Orange which weighs in at over 30-32lbs!!!!!

Oh ok. I'm going for sub 24 with my tazer hardtail
  • 1 0
Fair play, you planning on running gears and 2 brakes as sub 24 i think will be a tough challenge?!
  • 1 0
Gears and one brake will be for sure sub 24. I'm going to just run a temporary deore hub but once I get a DT 240s, ill be pushing 23lbs with Gears and one brake. Currently I'm 23.7 lbs with a 5.8 lb frame and singlespeed. So stoked! Frame should arrive either this or next week To be honest, I'm surprised your build weighs as much as it does. It's still very light, but I'd think it's closer to 26 lbs.
  • 1 0
Well i know the frame is about 5lbs but the rest of the parts are pretty light. Rear Mech and Stem i know are slightly over weight for the job, but i dont see where else i have bought too heavy really. Either way its a rocket in comparison to the MsIsle so stoked regardless of weight.

I'd love to see your spec and build when its all done mate as i'd be interested to see how much it does actually weigh when all built! Smile

Ok I'll send you a pic when I get it finished. Ya your bike is sick. The yeti dj was definitely on my list but unfortunately I can't get yeti through my shop

I got my tazer built up finally. It came to 24.7 lbs with gears and one brake. A little heavier than expected (as is always the case it seems haha) but once I get my new rear hub and possibly a race king for the rear, it should be sub 24 lbs as was planned
