that's a pretty large gap to tailwhip, creepy forest, nice bike and all... but where is he going to land, is that the patch of dirt at the bottom of the pic? or is the landing out of the pic.. sick pod.
Great trick. but there is some odd photoshopping going on around the edges of the photo. It can be seen at the top right where the gap in the tree has been duplicated. Also to the left where the same big tree has also been painted in. There are also some nice solid lines where the photo has been extended at the bottom left along the bottom, about a third of the way in and at the same place along the top where a branch is miss matched.
Im not criticising the trick, but it looks that the image has been shopped to make a portrait photo wider... but it does look like this has resulted in making the landing look bigger/different that it actually is.
Yeah I'm not a big fan of photoshopping images this way, even though I've done it myself on occasion. It's reasonably obvious if you look, it's been made a fair bit wider on the left as you said and also taller on the bottom. CS5 smart fill? I'd like to see the original image...
I'm guessing a bunch of it was done to take out the flashes and lightstands as well, you can see light from them on the trees, but there's no light source...
just sayin' that is is a great pod; not in a bike park; not in the city; beautiful mountains, and a great place to show what athletes in our sport are capable of. not dissin' bike parks; they totally have their place--great place to practice so that we can go into the mountains on trails and pull out this kind of trick trick. Great POD!
i bet his friend was looking at that gap and was all: "alhambaba dats big, derka derka tailwhip? meesa take the photo!" and tomas "leader" zejda responded: "ehhh, abjabar allak derka jabjab muhavi... alilililililililili jiiihhhaaaaaadddd!!!!"
