I work in a shop, it's rare that they get sent in in the first place, some of the 29'rs have had issues with a creaky crown, we usually have them back in a week or 2, we've had one 36 that was an 06 and OGC was out of a few parts, so that took a month, but they rebuilt it at a heavily discounted price. I have heard issues from people that deal with the eastern reps though.
thats an old pic i actually ride a Rock Shox Totem and I actually prefer the feel of Marzocchi better than fox. I will never ride a fox fork up front ever again haha.
fair enough, I've had 2 a van 36rc2 and a float 26rc2 and both where kinda meh, but everything else has been amazing. I had a totem for awhile which was super nice. fox's are FAR more relible then Marz and rs though, bar none. And currently all my bikes have rockshox suspension
yeah but how is Fox's service, absolutely terrible. I have had no problem sending my fork back to both Marz and RS and I would get it back within a week. Fox on the other hand, I have heard from several other people that it takes months to receive their fork back.
fox also takes times and concern into the process into the rebuild of your fork, if you thought about how HUGE their factory is then you would understand the time, your not just the only one sending in a fork, how many fork's and shocks go through fox a day? when marzo and RS are local in canada you get your fork or shock back in a day, but to ship your fox to the states and back to canada takes time on top of the rebuild. its a busy company don't make choices about a company or product just because the time it takes to get the job done. It's also personal preference i have destroyed every rockshox product ive own'd and marzo, but i have yet to even put a flaw into my fox, best support and group of guys ive met and dealt with, just depends on how you observe the situation.
Yeah don't get me wrong alot of people ride Fox suspension, but my brother works at a shop, hes been there a while now and has to deal with Fox on a regular basis. They aren't the best people to be talking too when you are trying to ship a customer's broken fork in to them. It's like they are a bunch of retards that just have machines make the forks for them and they put the code on the box and ship it out. Also yes fox does have all the intranet parts attatched to them, but whatever happened to stuff being simple. Fox is also not the original fork manufacturer's, which makes them noteworthy, but I feel like they should work on their customer service skills more because they ge tlarger demands of people calling in about their products more than they actually sell them. Not to mention Fox is severely overpriced, and I feel like you don't get all the bang for your buck when purchasing a Fox Fork.

just because he works in a shop does not make him an expert nor does it give you any liberty in calling Fox employes "retards" for your information for future reference Fox fork's are made and produced by humans not machines the parts are produced by highly intelligent machines that then are assembled by humans aka the ones you call "retards" maybe Fox has an issue with all the forks that his shop has to return? if they break them or blow them that easy maybe a hack rider shouldn't purchase a Fox product and stick to a RS that is easy to maintain and rebuild yourself. Fox is by far the best company i have dealt with personally, great group of guys if you have the will to ride and or purchase their product. As for the being overpriced and not being simple issue kinda points itself out, the higher quality and precession that goes into a product = more money, its simple the grade of product that is being used, employee that has to put together the fork, and shipping handeling, etc etc all costs money and in the end result has a high sale value but if you took the time to know your facts you would realize the resale value helps makes a purchase worth while a RS argyle can maybe resale for 150-250 tops after a beating and alex here can resale his 831 that has been rode from 700 up. please don't write retarded posts thinking you know your product or facts when your clearly the retard.
