Sorry to dig up convo on an old pic. The Zerode is one interesting bike. Curious about that crank chain going up to the gearbox...won't that chain tear up the alloy in the middle when things get rough? Or is is tensioned to the point there is absolutely no way chain slap can happen?

Basically; there's no chain slap, its tensioned perfectly so that there's no chain slap but also loose enough to keep pedaling as it would be with a conventional setup.

This frame is the first production frame, and the first batch is already in NZ. But pre-ordered.

If you hit the shock bad enough to total it, lets face it, on a normal bike you'd have the same fate except the frame not the shock. You shouldn't be getting anything anywhere near that part, even on a normal bike.
