why are you running revolution 32 hoops with chris king hubs?? i mean i know there strong but those hubs are woth a fortune... not trying to say revolution hoops are bad. just wondering your reasoning.
  • 1 0
Well I really wanted white rims to go with the bike and was looking into Halo's, NS rims, and others but for price and weight and strength i went with the Revolution 32's i was thinking of going Mavic as well and getting them painted but I figured the weight difference wasn't worth it and the Revolutions are only 630 grams and Mavic 721's weigh 590 grams not too huge a difference.

my only concern was for when the brakes heat up, i know some paints handle better than others (and some are even made for high heat)

what are you thinking about chainring and pedlas?
I suggest going with straitline pedals
  • 1 0
Was thinking straitline before but i got my job back so its twenty6's now, and im not sure about the chainring yet probably like a 32t or something.

  • 1 0
Those are nice too but i like the rise more it's a 2 inch on the Deity's and the Deity bars weigh 283g and the Race Face responds weigh 370g and has 1.5 inch rise

how did you pull off the blue disks?
  • 1 0
Very careful masking, primer, spray paint, and clear coat.
  • 1 0
do you think it will hold up?
  • 1 0
Ya i think so, the clear coat protects the color underneath im sure eventually it will get messed up but i still got more spray paint i can just re-do it.
