good tyres, but most of all, confidence. but, even more than that, at the top of the reasons list, he takes this drug called 'being pinned' with his bran flakes.
also just incase some people have been sayin the top pic is a fake, iff u look bout half way on fork lowers and look up u will see two thin twig/pineneedle looking things (across to the right of the knee pad) that in my opinion looks like they are being flicked up by the tyre, i could be wrong though but just looks like it doesnt belong in that bit of the picture.
could do.. but taking pictures is not something i feel i need to do, never has been.. i have a camera with me rarely..hes taking a turn lower then usual thats it
I am the rider. At the end of the day we all ride bikes (some more than others judging by the number of times people comment on here...). I don't need to defend myself, it's your opinion if you believe that this doesn't take skill/anyone can do this. However, it just so happens that no one else agrees.
fair enough, i do ride a lot thats why i feel this could have been done again without the dab.. the berm is there after all.. sure its low though.. the pics prob dont do it justice perhaps
The problem is neale1978 - (and I say this after checking when you joined: recently) - your comment exemplifies the typical jaded person who comments on this website nowadays. Since it expanded, many people have joined this site - but a few years ago, it was simple website where the focus was on only the photos. It has become much more Fanboy on here. It's hard to tell if half the people even ride. Some time back, that wasn't the case. Although you're right that you deserve to voice your opinion, that doesn't make your opinion right. When was the meeting re: foot coming off pedal = non killed berm? The reason people have taken offensive is because you're behaving as an authority on this matter. ''Killing it'' is generally a subjective term. Subjective terms are made based on your personal thinking - people don't like to be told how they should think. See how that could be annoying?
fair enough, you're right.. i should have worded things better, other things on this site annoy me, probably things you have mentioned and its manifested itself in the comments i made. apologies
Props to the rider for hangin on, his foot came off big deal, least he didn't bite the wet dirt, i thought as soon as i seen this picture that there would be some sort of discusion like the one pic in the snow where his handle bar was on the ground, the guy was wearing TROY Lee Design red and whit but any way, Wicked shot timing, POD deserved
For all his crying about it, I don't even see where the foot came off the pedal? It just looks to me like he's starting to pedal out of the berm so his inside foot, which was the high foot, is now forward as he's puttin' the hammer down on the way out.
Regardless, this berm was indisputably killed... so much so that it's family will be holding memorial services this Thursday and the community is planning a candlelight vigil on Sunday.
no tears being spilt here but thanks for your concern MOM.. iam getting demolished, online! thanks for that, YOU WIN
foots off on the middle pic at the bottom CLEARLY due to being unbalanced, if this berm is killed then iam a serial killer.. this sort of shit is exactly what i was mocking in the first place.. ITS THE INTERNET, GET OVER IT
neale1978, could you please post a pic of yourself doing anything even close to this good? and preferably a sequence so we can be sure that you're not just getting a frame grab of you about to put your bike in the dirt.. thanks
Neal you basically are showing us you ride with stabilizers. Get a life , learn how to ride properly yourself instead of criticising a guy who clearly has established very good skills on a bike
Props for the riders! I wont understand how you guys get that low Mad props!
// Neale has no live.... This is where his PB account belongs: This is where he is at the moment: And this is what the other PBers wanna do with his account!
i had forgotten about this because i have a life, i think people taking time out to 'gang up' on one user being a slightly 'cheeky' over one image on pinkbike says something about their lives never mind mine
its a fun small turn, he gets real low in it but his foot comes off.. thats all there is to it, accept it and move on like i have
Stop trying neale, you won't get positive props, you deserve it, it's your opinion that's right, but if you're going to criticize keep it to yourself, no one likes your attitude (400+ neg props prove it), also, your last comment shows you've not moved on.
i cant move on, i'll admit it.. this compelling dispute is far too stimulating for its own good
please give me positive props, i really feel i'll have a more fruitful day knowing i have them from people ive never met
myślę, że każdy polak, kiedy to zobaczy i zrozumie mówi "o kurwa", a swoją drogą trzeba naprawdę nie chcieć się wyłożyć, żeby z tego wyjść jak ten Gość
i thing that every pole, seeing and understing the situation on the picture says "o f*cking shit" (which i suppose is a funny comment only to poles) anyway one has to really think about not going down to manage a situaton like this
..i would go down just because my thoughts would tell me it is time to
I am not at all questioning the ability level of anyone involved in these pictures( rider and photographer ) obviously both are talented. My problem is I really think the other pictures aren't sequence shots. I think they are taken at different times. Even the look on the rider's face and the fact that he is staring straight at the center of the berm while he is in the center of the berm tells me he is going down.
oh this berm is near 180 degrees, most riders find it quite hard to look that far around without unbalancing yourself.. he's looking the same distance ahead in all the shots.
However, you seem pretty convinced and i suppose in reality it doesn't matter all too much! You're entitled to your opinion
his inertia is not with his front wheel, its on his pedal/s. his front wheel is fighting the gyroscopic/accelerating forces, wanting to stand up straight.
with his precise timing, the moment the inertia of all his mass (not the front tire - which he is not fighting & letting it do it thing) hits the berm he lets it transfer to the front wheel so that the bike stands back up and he is saved.
cliff notes: his front tire is sliding and re-grips after weight is transferred back onto it after it is unleaned.
i thot this was a picture of a wipeout when i saw the small version of it on the side under pod. then i saw the other pics that is rad. major props bro
Hello negative props but i dont think it's pod worthy, he got low, but cant everyone do that? the lighting isnt the best (just personally i dont think it's amazing )
i can see where your coming from. i think the reason why this got pod is because of the first impression it makes on people when they first see it. after a while i reckon people start to think its not that good
