yeah but you get a longer barrel = more accuracy from a shorter overall gun length also it brings the weight of the weapon further back so you get the ability to more easily hold it with one hand whilst you reload
Yes it should...to pop a cap in it's head, finger must always be on the trigger.
If you are gonna talk to me about how you are not supposed to have your finger on the trigger for safety reasons, I know...I'm not an idiot.
kickasssloth, how do you know that he didn't intend to actually shoot Ronald? Trigger discipline is good, but proper technique dictates that his finger should be on the trigger if he is going to bust a cap. Some Army guys are nucking futs; he may very well have actually ended up shooting that grinning bastard.
I didnt shoot the statue. I would have liked to, but its better to save your rounds for when you need them. Ronald proved no immediate danger to me at the time
Whatever. Those M9s have 15+1 rounds so you'd still have plenty left over. Now if they had kept the M1911s I might have understood wanting to save your ammo.
Bro if you only had an idea how better off we would be with the old 1911!!!! You dont need more then ONE .45 rd to stop a man. I personally have used 4 rounds to drop a wound up bomb runner. All placed directly center mass, and that just stopped him from running. Them shits went straight through him....thats shitty ball ammo for you.
If i had done that with a 1911. That dude would have no back left to lay his dead ass down on. Trust me. The 9mm berreta 92f is a huge piece of shit
I got a buddy in EOD who says the exact same thing about 9x19mm. He's said the same thing about guys hopped up on PCP; it takes 4-6 rounds to stop them. That's why he carries a Springfield Armory XD-45. 13+1 rounds of .45 ACP, no drawbacks except you have to supply your own ammo because the DOD thinks that 9mm is the shit.
Ratt, 1911s are awesome guns, but they're mostly overpriced. The amount of money that I spent to build my whole AR-15 would buy you a decent 1911. My next gun is going to be a Glock 19 or 17, depends on which one fits my hand better. $500 for a handgun is way more reasonable. However if money was no object (and if the CA DOJ didn't have a list of handguns that weren't legal in Cali) then I would go for one of these: sgcusa.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/D/e/Desert_Warrior_A.large.jpg It would match my AR-15 quite nicely
My duty weapon while doing eod was a m1a1 ebr. Also known as the chop mod, i actually built up my own, check my pictures out you can see it. The sidearm i has was a hk mk23. Great weapon and it reeved many souls in dark rooms without a jam. Heavy as hell but when you put a hush puppy on her and switched it to single action thr only sound it made was the firing pin clicking! Amazing setup. So in a attempt to save moneh i bought the next best thing, a hk usp 45 tactical compact. Its light, acurate, has a threaded barrel and holds ten rounds. Its my day to day civilian carry weapon
Yeah H&Ks are solid firearms. My AR is a mix of an S&W lower, Stag upper/barrel, Samson quad rail, and Magpul finishings in DEB. Also got a Surefire 6P LED on a Daniel Defense offset mount. If I were able to get a carry permit in CA (it's next to impossible), I would probably carry a Glock 23 with night sights. 10+1 rounds of .40 S&W in a semi-compact package.
^^^^Also: weird-looking. Dunno what it is but bullpup rifles just look very weird to me. I prefer the traditional ArmaLite AR-15/M16 design with a two-piece receiver and the magwell in front of the pistol grip.
Maybe the most reliable semi-auto handgun. Revolvers are by far the most reliable handguns on the market, simply due to the fact that they can have far fewer mechanical failures.
Yeah I like tacticool things too. I have a flashlight and a flashlight/laser on my AR-15 currently. Everyone knows that two flashlights = twice the tacticool.
yea the bullet buttons f*cking stupid just had to convert mine to that to whats even gayer though is the ar's with the plate welded to the bottom so you have to break it open and load it from the top
