Selected by Ian Hylands - Time for another dirt jump POD. This one just caught my eye, not even really sure if it's a corked flipwhip or a crazy 3 whip, maybe something inbetween.... Whatever you want to call it it's POD material, nothing special about the composition or lighting, just a sick trick shot in a way that shows it well.
Maybe it's a bit of an angle issue that makes it look corked, compare it to this flipwhip: www.pinkbike.com/photo/5428932 - it's a stitched fisheye panoramic sequence, so probably the fish look it responsible for it somehow anyway, stoked to see it became POD!!!
matt, all i ever see you do is slate other peoples riding its not cool man this is a hard trick ive tried and ended up upside down in a foam pit props to the guy that did the trick, and the photographer wouldnt be pod with out you!
All flipwhips have a 360 in them, it's just the way the body turns during the flip. If you watch the handlebars in almost every flipwhip, they spin the full 360 (really easy to see when Cam McCaul does it into the pool in Seasons).
I hate when people say "I hate it when people say "guaranteed neg props" and some stupid comment, just to get props." just to raise attention to the fact that someone was looking for props...
@stupendousman yeah i think youre right! I thought it was more of a 3 whip until reading the description as nothing goes fully upside down in the photo! still pretty damn impressive!!
