 These aren't even that common on a skateboard anymore and on a board you are able to plant your dominant hand and are naturally compact. Frankie is probably planting his non-dominant hand in order to hold the bike/brake with his right hand. Then with 26" wheels he needs to be quite extended making re-entry much more difficult. Obviously my mind is blown by this.
