the flaring issue is a lie. I have owned 6 now... no flaring issues of any kind. Not one of the 30+ that I've sold have flared. I think it might be blown out of proportion/ a result of poor headset installation on some part.
I hate integrated headsets always a clearance issue. Had 2 different MoBs and it was a pain. There is no flaring issue it is a myth. I have had a few DOBs with no issue, even with some serious casing. The guys at Dobermann hate integrated headsets, they just do it to please the people that don't know any better.
You should know better. How many Dobs have you had and built? Plus you have to cut the steerer tube too short. Now integrated seat clamps are a good idea
Gotta keep up with the times man. I needed a bike that showcased all the new shit for 2011... for business reasons as much as anything.
Lucky just doesn't cut it as a showbike anymore.
Well don't gorilla tighten them. I just think they look clean and save a whole smidge of weight.
I do love this bike and my little nephew would flip Orange is his favorite color.
They do look clean. But the second shims and/or one-piece seats and posts are brought into the equation....problems. Cleaner: No seatclamp like D-rock.
And to dig up the flaring issue more then most of the time it is a hack installing the hs wrong. Plus good steel is less likely to have an issue then aluminum..
My Ryde has an integrated seat post. Not that great. Its a pain if you take out your seat. The parts fall out and crap. Way rather have the normal collar
how old is your kid, and what skills does he have? I'm looking for a full time Entourage-ist/masseur/crack-whore-heckler to accompany me around town and kick homeless people for me so I don't scuff my new shoes.
