your bike just gets sexier and sexier. now all you need is a new chain.

Great minds think alike tup Getting a new chain in a month or so. Get a white one. Then a white hydro brake.

get a normal chain man. get white cranks or summit. or spay your cranks. if you could find a 2010 elixer 5 (white) then GET IT!

alright. spray your shoe white and call start calling it a brake! a whole lot cheaper than buying a new brake!

but id rather buy a new brake than use my shoe and wear out a shoe and tire. personal prefference I guess Razz

why do you want such a powerful brake for a hardtail? it doesnt need it. i had avid juicy3's on my hardtail and there spot on. i now have a shimano deore m575 ( i have a set on my dh bike too) in white and there amazing brakes.

codes or elixirs are amazing brakes if you havre a big burly bike. but a small HT like this just doesnt accomodate them.

but hey, not my bike.

I definitely know what you mean. I'm so used to my mech brakes needing tuning after like one run on a dh trail, so I just want a nice brake that barely needs to be bled and keeps it's stopping power. (cause I ride dh on this too) and I also like the design of codes and elixirs over juicys Razz

plumstick is crazy. if you have an option between a powerful brake and a not so powerful, which one should you choose... powerful brakes are what stop you. stopping is good.

im not on about power. more based on price. why spent alot more on codes when a juicy 3 will do the same job?

see what i mean? seems pointeless to spend so much extra money when you dont need to, a juicy 3 will locks the back wheel up. so why spend the extra?

CAUSE STOPPING HELPS SOMETIMES!!! gawrsh buddy. and elixers are your best bet. stopping sooner/faster can reeeaaaallllly help sometimes.

I like elixirs over juicys. Price doesn't matter too much.
