Canada: look at that mountain behind your house, someone's shredded that mountain before.
(Oct 31, 2011 at 22:32)
Haha funny thing is, that's not even exaggeration.
(Feb 13, 2012 at 0:02)
Funny thing is I've ridden all 3 mountains around my house.
(Feb 13, 2012 at 0:12)
Ever seen deliverence?
(Feb 13, 2012 at 1:12)
this just screams God is good! hard to even imagine a more well rounded photo.
(Feb 13, 2012 at 2:44)
or, tectonic plates and hydrogen fusion are good. this photo is everything i could want in my new desktop wallpaper!
(Feb 13, 2012 at 6:05)
No doubt tectonic plates and hydrogen fusion play a part, but God is the one who set the whole thing in motion... I know that was an off topic comment and i don't intend for it to spark a debate, but you are taking credit away from my God. I couldn't help but reply...
(Feb 13, 2012 at 6:30)
^ Personal beliefs are just that, PERSONAL. Keep them to yourself....
Anyways, the Kamloops look so incredible. I'd love to head up there someday.
(Feb 13, 2012 at 8:27)
Religion is like a penis. Dont get it out in public Dont shove it down peoples throats without permission especially not young children Sick pod
(Feb 13, 2012 at 8:47)
no left turn
(Feb 13, 2012 at 8:52)
(Feb 13, 2012 at 9:28)
"dirtjumpwannabe" i couldnt agree more. Anyone who chooses to think otherwise is held responsible for themselves and I just hope they will recognize Gods undeniable existance some day. Is that an opinion? yes. Do i care what anyone thinks? hell no; might influence somone to find God and thats worth everything.
"scott-towns", WTFruit are u doin posting "personal beliefs" about your opinions of this photos then? keep it to urself bud...
(Feb 13, 2012 at 9:58)
^^is it me or is it weird that he used "hell no" in a post about god??
(Feb 13, 2012 at 10:42)
@Zachhinton he man i beleave in higher intelegence, but your kinda out of line, this isnt relegios form or som kinda thing like that, its mtb site so relegous debates have no place here.
(Feb 13, 2012 at 10:48)
i dont go to church, the streets, jumps, and mountains are my church
(Feb 13, 2012 at 11:15)
Hahah, BikeTrials, I think its about time you change churches!
(Feb 13, 2012 at 12:09)
Hell is a place and no is against. "hell no" = anti-hell
I mind my words closely "Smells".
Im not attempting to "hate" on non believers of God in any way, I just made a personal credit to God. I am not even slightly bothered by people criticizing that however it makes them seem really insecure. What good is living your life a follower of others who criticizes those that express individual values? take it or leave it but stop complaining.
Biking is awesome because we have the freedom to choose how we ride and build. What kind of person would go out of their way to hate on someones riding style just because its different.
Support what you believe but dont be close minded to alternative views.
(Feb 13, 2012 at 13:18)
maybe I should say I'm satanist and start a debate, satan is great because he posses riders and makes them do dangerous things, suck on that zachhinton11!
(Feb 13, 2012 at 13:32)
I just hope you guys go to heaven
(Feb 13, 2012 at 13:52)
Sometimes i like to lay under my bed and pretend im a carrott
(Feb 13, 2012 at 14:44)
finnrambo- go for it, but acknowledging satan is also a form of acknowledging Gods existance because God created satan (originally lucifer, an angel) in the first place. And doing dangerous things doesnt have to be against Gods will if your doing them to honor Him.
biketrials- you too.
(Feb 13, 2012 at 14:45)
if im not mistaken you would be more useful as a carrot in a bed.... no homo
(Feb 13, 2012 at 14:48)
sometime i like to wrap myself in tin foil and pretend im a potato
(Feb 13, 2012 at 14:58)
sometimes i get in the bathtub and pretend im a noodle
(Feb 13, 2012 at 14:59)
Mountain biking is my religion
(Feb 13, 2012 at 15:36)
The only thing in the world that we are certain about is life, so live it. And sick pic, absolutely priceless.
(Feb 13, 2012 at 16:51)
Zachhinton, everybody else, nobody's said they disagree with you, but c'mon, ur in the wrong corner of the internet to spew ur views all over everybody. Go with the penis analogy. Thewake knows what he's talking about.
(Feb 13, 2012 at 17:06)
and all this started from one sorry guy saying "god is good"...haha whatta world
(Feb 13, 2012 at 18:11)
I know... weird isn't it
(Feb 13, 2012 at 18:53)
man people these days, cant just comment on how amazing this photo is. but just go off on some dumb topic.
(Feb 13, 2012 at 19:08)
why don't we just shut up in the admiration of this photo?
(Feb 13, 2012 at 19:46)
ok I'll agree with freeryde-mtb im done, didnt get a very good reaction anyways, its an awesome photo and that riding demands respect, it doesnt look horribly difficult rxcept for the steepness but the consequences are huge and it takes balls to ride like that
(Feb 13, 2012 at 21:44)
Guys, lets argue about something less controversial than religion. Like politics!
(Feb 13, 2012 at 22:04)
that was a funny read.
(Feb 13, 2012 at 22:09)
I think George bush was a good president and I love Mitt Romney even more because he is just so real and down-to-earth , unlike that power hungry hippy Ron Paul. Good thing he will never win because he doesn't scream "AMURICA'S TEH BEST!!!" everytime someone asks him a question about shadowy foreign wars. And if Mitt doesn't win , we still got Rick Santorum. I appreciate his bigoted views and silly last name. And above all , I love jesus
Couldn't help myself
(Feb 14, 2012 at 0:07)
Which one supports mountainbiking?
I like him.
(Feb 13, 2012 at 10:23)
this is the classic outside line by Devils Peak, shot first in 1995 for an article called Sick, by Eric Berger. Tippie rode it on a rigid. You can see it being ridden on video here:
(Feb 13, 2012 at 13:53)
someones done their homework
(Feb 13, 2012 at 21:13)
That's how I found it haha
(Feb 13, 2012 at 0:37)
The contrast between town and mountain, the perfect lighting and a sick spot all in all a perfect photo, well done !
(Feb 13, 2012 at 11:13)
yes its an awesome photo but the only thing that made it suck is that we got some bible thumper trying to cram religion down our throats. like lauber-point1 said "don;t be giving fictional characters credit for what hard working mother nature has done for over millions of years!"
(Feb 13, 2012 at 1:31)
Just an awesome POD, it gives me that funny tingly feeling like when ya just about to hit something huge for the first time
(Feb 13, 2012 at 1:21)
I reckon he's gone for the drop and changed his mind at the last minute... ;oP
(Feb 13, 2012 at 0:01)
Easily one of my most favorite pictures ever.
(Feb 13, 2012 at 0:24)
Me too, this pic is awesome. It reminds me of how mountain biking allows us to escape civilization no matter how close you still are. Just a man, his bike and a mountain. All-be-it a mighty tall, steep, dangerous, you could die at the slightest mistake mountain.......but that's just part of the thrill.
(Feb 13, 2012 at 16:25)
This is an epic picture! Major props for getting a great take on an acient trail by freeride standards.....Personally im a religious person but this is not the time nor the place for religious discussions or arguments....Just my opinion!
(Feb 13, 2012 at 8:41)
This one might be my favorite picture of the week. Nice one! The only downside is that seeing shots like this really makes winter around these parts feel reeeeeeally long.
(Feb 13, 2012 at 10:44)
Listen guys, this is a biking website not a website to emphasis how good God is. Cmon! Great POD!
(Feb 13, 2012 at 8:15)
Sometimes you see photos where you think you could of taken that if you where there, and other times you think that's just amazing, this is the second one
(Feb 13, 2012 at 7:57)
reminds me why I love riding.
(Feb 13, 2012 at 16:28)
Reminds me that i suck as a rider.
(Feb 13, 2012 at 9:57)
Haha wtf, god? Don't be giving fictional characters credit for what hard working mother nature has done over millions of years!
(Feb 13, 2012 at 11:40)
Such amazing riding literally right in your backyard! So not proud to be British right now.
(Feb 14, 2012 at 2:34)
Couldn't agree more, Britain is shit!
(Feb 13, 2012 at 16:26)
So awesome! Love that area for riding! Well done on a wicked shot! Oh and Evolution Ftw. haha

Leave it to Kamloops to be constantly sick.
(Feb 13, 2012 at 10:26)
this line is an old school classic from the frorider days. So sweet.
(May 10, 2011 at 1:13)
(May 10, 2011 at 8:35)
would have been epic if there was acutally a dust cloud being slashed off th edge...get back up there and throw some loose sand on the corner!
(May 12, 2011 at 20:28)
just need to find someone who will let me borrow their wireless triggers and ill it'll be done
(May 13, 2011 at 7:46)
(Feb 13, 2012 at 0:08)
does nobody think that sun is too blinding
(Feb 13, 2012 at 12:53)
if the photographer exposed for the sun, making it less blinding, you wouldn't be able to see the rider and where he's going - that whole left side would be dark if not black - because he's in a shadowed area behind direct sunlight
(Feb 14, 2012 at 2:36)
SandersB... Change the brightness of your screen then
(Feb 13, 2012 at 6:15)
