i know this is old, but what is the purpose of this chainstay design? ive seen both mitch and anthony ride it and they clearly take the abuse fine.

The design features flex, up and down while maintaining lateral stiffness. the reason is that Aluminum frame, which we can build stiffer and stronger can be as supple as cromoly.

actually sounds really good. good luck at jship

meh. i think the bike is damn sexy. i only wish i had the money to get any of the morpheus frames.

i bet that chainstay is stronger then most dj frames chainstays and its nice that its different good job morpheus for switching it up. i am getting bored of the every day dj frames.

Im don't actually find the frame THAT ugly...although it does look like it might snap.

Can anyone tell me the reason for the rubber on the bb/cranks?
  • 6 0
ya man the frame isnt that bad. it does look like it will snap but they wouldnt make this if they didnt test it. The rubber around the bb is to keep the cranks from spinning out of place when you jump. you can adjust them to where you want them before you hit the jump and theyll stay there where you need them

It looks like there isnt any leverage helping you to manual. theres gotta be alotta stress on those little drop outs
  • 1 1
how do you make that crank stopper?!!?
  • 1 0
wrap a inner tube around the bb and zip tie it on
  • 1 0
OR cut a circle out of and old tire, with a hole in the middle just big enough to fit over your axle, then slip this on behind your sprocket Smile

on a muddy trail that bike would just fill up with mud! look at the wheel clearance....
  • 2 0
dj bikes are not ridden on muddy trails ..
  • 1 0
 They are in wales
  • 1 0
well thats silly, using a bike for a purpose that it is not designed for ..
  • 2 0
so you cant use that bike on dirt jumps? is that what your trying to say? WALES IS A DAMP HOLE IN THE UK! where ever you go its wet! jumps near us, are always wet!

ya makes the rear wheel weaker lol shitty made but mitch post vids of u riding this becuase i wanna c how it holds up
  • 1 0
There's no difference compared to the one on a Killswitch. Don't see why it would break...
  • 1 0
How strong is the rear end??.. still stiff with dropouts like that??
  • 1 1
not a fan tbh, looks like a perfect place to snap, right by the bolts too...
  • 1 0
it looks like a insect tbh
  • 1 1
Thats not a short rear end, thats just short seatstays and a ticket to the ER
  • 2 0
the Chain stays are 14.5, shortest in the industry with a 26 inch wheel.
  • 1 0
Shortest in the industry with a 26" wheel would be the Tubagra brMozu, at 13.9". And formerly the Candida Menopause at the same length.

My cap26 was at 14" flat.

Formula sticker - Avid brake....why not Smile
