Come up a little short, pay the price. Double break compound fracture, two and a half hours of surgery, 2 plates, 15 screws and somewhere around 30 staples. Good times.
scars are just tatoos with better stories. and look like they want instead of how you want, which ithink is pretty cool. my scars have added to my tatts personality. so now, i think about scars when i get a new tat planned. what would hit me there, and how will it look then. you know? part of the fun. keep that head up bari! we got a trail waiting for you when your ready!!!
oh yeah, and 2-9ers are actually pretty fun. not a replacement for a wicked trailbike, but fun none the less.
Glad to see you are back on the bike Todd. Me, I don't know if I will even be back on the dirt this year. I am already looking into a 29er for road rides once I can start riding again. I figure I should get the all clear for road rides well before getting the ok to hit dirt again. I never thought I would even consider a 29er, but I don't want to be a road toad either.
Thanks Mike. As you well know, when you push the limits something is going to go awry at some point. Sucks it happened, especially so early in the year, but what can ya do?
Thanks Sara (I got that right didn't I?). I am still in good spirits and keeping a positive attitude. I am out for the season which really sucks but when you roll big your gonna pay big at some point. Not much you can do about it. Thank you for the well wishes!
