Magnificent! So often in the bike industry we've see good ideas fall by the wayside by being badly made. This was the opposite, a bad idea immaculately executed! The BBC even had this on Tomorrow's World. Someone rode it over ladder on the floor of the studio and nearly fell off!
A million years ago, an Australian dude made a bike called a 'Minkie' (after the whale, but spelled it differently). It was a DH bike and had a set of long travel parrallelogram forks. It had a full-on DH coil-over shock between the linkages.
Of course I threw the mag out years ago, but there is scan of the article in a ridemonkey thread on old suspension designs (which is probably the most interesting MTB thread ever).
Yeah they were nice too,there is also one sat in a shed collecting dust on the life cycles film and proflex's system was pretty similar too along with mert lawwills fork.
