Nice work! I like the spacers, and bolt head protectors. So is thats a 10mm female hub? Looks much smarter than my washers, but i don't get access to lathes now im not at college.

Give me some sizes and I can quickly spin you up something when I can?

Mike, how come you need those volcano washers? It's 10mm dropouts right so wouldn't the profile bolts just work fine? Or was it because they would just press into the frame and not get enough hold?

They were just profiles way of polishing a turd as having bare exposed cap head bolts would look fugly

just out of interest... why a 110mm profile hub instead of the 135mm?

not hating, just curious

Because I already had it! Would have moved to an NS Rotary Pro, but couldn't afford it.

that makes perfect sense now haha

i was beginning to think it was just so you could machine more bits :p

Not gonna lie, if I ever did upgrade to the Rotary, it would take in instant trip on a lathe to remove the disk mounts.
I find flaws even when there are nonelol

why the big washers on the bolt cups?

My take on Simples "Wheel slammers".
Bit bulky, but they were done in 20 minutes, so I can't complain!

 135mm rear spacing!?
  • 1 0
 Eh?
Frame is MTB spaced and I'm rocking a BMX hub.
Made a spacer and got a longer bolt and all is well!

Yeah thats what I ment, Nice, no chances of slips or breaks than usual?
  • 1 0
I haven't a clue about how strong my parts are, but I trust them entirely! Can't see any way that it could break, either

mmm, so whats going on with the wheel? Pushed over or what?
  • 1 0
Dished. I.e, the wheel is trued over to one side so it's central in the frame instead of central over the hub as it normally is. Disk brake wheels are normally dished to accomodate for the disk on one side, but not as much as this!
