 it's not too bad, it could be lower and slacker, as it's not as stable as i would like, however i've just come back from an uplift day at moelfre and it didn't put a foot (or maybe a wheel Wink ) wrong. Takes the hits like the champ and just eats everything, i love it.

 instead of the sx trail? i think they're pretty similar bikes in terms of geometry and travel, though the actual quality of the suspension on the sx trail might be better (not ridden one) as the orange does tend to blow through its travel a little, you really need a good custom tune on the shock to get it working really well. There's probably not a great deal of point upgrading to a patriot really unless your sx frame is just a bit knackered

 fair enough, it is a nice frame, though you might want to try one first, they're pretty different in the way that they behave
