what are the ardents like in comparrison to other maxxis dh tyres

They roll a lot faster/easier then the Minion, but don't hook up as well in loose/nasty stuff. You also have to lean the bike really hard to get them connected, there's kind of an empty zone between the center tread and the side knobs. But I love them, they're fast and I've never slid out. These are dual ply and I haven't gotten a flat yet, and I'm 220 and case jumps all the time.
