This was not done by jumping, dropping, or abuse...simple put the rear chain stays have a tag welded to them for cable routing and that weld fatigued the chain stay causing it snap! luckily it snapped on a flat at the bottom of a hill

Specialized all the way fella y do u think i sold my session bad rep. or u could go Santa Cruz bullet single pivot frames jump well. plus less to go wrong ;-)

mate I did exactly the same spot on my scratch air 2011 and 2 more have come back into my local shop with the exact same issue!

long sold my scratch now! great bike until the snap and to be fair trek fixed it no worries took a few weeks though

anyways they dropped the scratch for the "all new slash" hopefully that has no snapping issues...not that it would as its a completely different bike

Also it was a double break did both chain stays ive got loads more photos of it
