Pretty solid picture Rod. Shame you can't quantify functionality as easily, but this gets the point across.

I really wanted to do this for the longest time, but I needed a pic of my modded stem. At 206g stock though..and can be modded without sacrificing much strength is awesome. I rode it with a alu bar on a rigid (LOL@haters) and now I ride it with a shim and shaved as much material as I can. Never has it gave me an issue.

the atlas respond stem should be on here too. Like $50 for a 160g stem

170g and "designed specifically for the all mountain rider"? Why don't we just cut to the chase and throw up the Ritchey WCS Matrix?

I have the sraitline stem and I really like it exept it slipped when I first got it. Now I put my purse down when tightening the bolts and havent had a problem sense

Well...Groves I believe who said it, but greasing the threads help. I think he made a little white lie though.

 Nope. Steel.

Okay if they were I was going to say add that to the 60 dollars

Well...luckily for me, I got that stem a lot cheaper, and it's funny when you see the price to weight ratio on these...I mean, I'd spend the money on the Holzfeller hands down. I have owned/own all three stems and I never had a problem with two of them. I choose TruVativ here.

I used that at first, but had two bits broke before I whipped out the saw.
