Marc Beaumont expresses his disdain for another country's racing federation dictating what he has to wear during a World Cup in no uncertain terms. "If I was racing a French National race, sure; but this is a World Cup. We shouldn't be held to their racing standards, only the UCI's.

 Backplates I guess...he's kinda being a dick about it, it's basically like an extension of "wear your helmet" because after your brain your spine is the second most vulnerable important part of your body. I'd like to see him going down with a cardboard box over his head saying "Face It".

 You dont need back plates though its your option, if it was up to me id wear one though but hes pro hell think nothing bads going to happen to him just like dan atherton, my dad when he was younger he didnt have much money to buy protective suits so he just used carpet under his jersey for a body armour Razz
