The monster boys looked better and more factory with D3's but I suppose having the make of your bike as a helmet is more factory, but Just doesn't look as out there as the D3. Sick shot tho, and that race looked mad. POD.
Yeah they're all the same but they're all different, I liked this one because it was a little bit brighter than the others, and the composition was decent, although I'll agree with Eric on the marshall and the banner at the top.
I personally find that red banner & marshal right on the edge above his head a bit distracting, so the composition is not 100% to me. Would be very easy to sort out, but guessing that spot was packed with other photographers he may not have had the option to move to a better spot.
I use mine all the time, but I also don't shoot big races with 10 other photographers in the same corner. To have it close enough & not in someone else's way wouldn't be easy here.
I like this photo. I know nothing about lighting, shutter speeds and all that stuff. But this is a cool pic. Not like the jump pics where you can get the rider to go back and keep jumpin till you get the perfect shot. This was one chance one shot and i'd say he nailed it.
No i know i was just saying. every pict ive seen so far someone has to complain about how the lighting was a little wrong or he was looking the wrong way. i remember when riding picts were about the guy riding not how perfect of a pict it had to be because of the lighting or angle. it captured a moment of either whoohooo or oh my god im gonna die. Foes-mono has the right idea.
I figure your going to get all wet and dirty anyway, there isn't much point in slowing down the process. Bunny hopping into a puddle is even more fun, and you don't get to wet.
Unless you live in a place called Wollongong. where it rains alot. dusty trails have been hard to come by for a while around here. but last weekend, omg that was so nice and dusty!!! only having to pedal once and just rolling off lips, rather than pedaling up to the lip and then boosting off it. I couldn't keep the smile off my face!
I know, I went to Whistler for a week in July and that was soooo good! I still have a rockn' glove tan. it just sucks that SGC won't let you ride until 8:00pm or when ever the lift closes. Now we just have to mission of building something that flows as well as blue velvet.
