It literally just turned up out of the blue! Thought maybe it was a Christmas present or something that had come early, except the rents knew nothing of it so we opened it up and there it was, along with a letter from CRC/Nukeproof. Where did you get yours from?
Also dude I've noticed you're running a coil shock in yours, how does it ride as I'm contemplating putting one in mine instead of selling it to see if I like how it feels, and whats the eye to eye length?
I bought my frame 2nd hand off a guy for 600, he says he hasnt recieved anything, but ive emailed the guys he bought it off with no reply yet (globalbikes). I havent properly built it up yet just stuck a spare set of crappy toras on it, should be getting a proper set of forks in the next couple of weeks. Have taken it for a quick spin however and the rear end sits lovely to the ground. it all feels nice and smooth. I definatly wouldnt have any worries putting a coil on it. the eye to eye is 200. Will get back to you when ive taken it for a proper thrashing
Oh I am indeed! If anything I needed a bike like this in the first place, the Kona was a bit much but I still miss it But yeah this is an absolute ninja on the trails
I have heard very mixed review's about them... was very tempted, but alot of people say the hub's are shite. So I opted for hope hoops. Cant beat pro 2's for the money
Yeah hopes are sick, I'd have them if I had the money, but these wheels are absolutely fantastic, their Switch EVO hub is good, and the rims are VERY strong.
Tidy, I like the look of the superlagera hub. though the switch evo seems to have better reviews and is alot cheaper :/ Anyway hope they hold up for you, they sure do look the shizz
I've had Superstar (Vertigo rims & Switch hubs) wheels on my bike for 2 years now - still running sweet despite some heavy off road use and daily commute. They might be heavier than some wheelsets, but definitely worth a look for the price.
hold of the new rear chainstay? trying to get one myself.
