It is isn't it. Adjustable 45/50mm and flippable to adjust bar height...

Pablo is thinking there! Flippable componet, not something you hear often.

Ya the DM can put the bars -2mm to +13mm from the top of the fork clamp and it's 102 grams.

i would like to run one of those atom lab stems on my 4x or dirtjumper Big Grin when are they released for sale?

Not sure exactly but the steer tube mount ones are tentatively priced at $139.95 and the direct mount at $169.95 I'd keep checking the atomlab website for more details... Oh, and the 38mm one is 114 grams....

Which way does the normal mount stem mount on the steerer, negative rise or positive rise? Hard to tell.
  • 1 0
im guessing it may also be flippable

I wonder if Ian meant the normal mount one was flippable, not the DM one? Because if you flipped the DM it'd be really awkwardly low.

 DM drop stems ftw Razz

i wonder if both are flippable. good idea. so ultra tall and ultra short people can still use them

tom- just noticed. it would be negative rise. as the lazer etching would be on the top

The DM stem is up the normal way, but the writing on the faceplate is on the right...? So maybe the steerer mount one is upside down?

Who knows, lets just wait for Ian Razz

you can flip the faceplates i assume

Mike from Atomlab asked me to design this range with some new pedals on the way also. You can flip them both and the reach on the DM stem is 50-53mm.

Awesome! Looks like it'll be my new stem! Does it come in blue? Razz

im going to go ahead and assume that it will have all the colours atomlab uses now

at the show they were listed as coming in Black or Black/Red although they also had Black/Silver ones on display. I'm not going to assume anything about the colors, but having things ano'd different colors isn't difficult if there is a demand for it. The pedals I saw were blue. Photo is here
