Yeah . I was going to head to Philly last week and try to meet up with you. But this guy contacted me and wanted to do a trade for the maj. So I had to head out to Knox and pick up the bike.I got to see when I can next head down. If its too cold for FDR then maybe we can hit up Woodward in the Franklin mills mall.
I thought of it . But the 26 is a 1/2 inch too short . Phil has 165's on his and my foot still hits badly when doing bars and cross ups. if a better street 26 frame comes out that I can get I will go back to 26" .The peanut 26 is very tempting .
Stout bikes represent! I want to go bmx spacing so bad but I can't because I just bought my octane frame and just bought my pimplite wheelset so wouldn't be worth it now , although I would love to try this , never rode a cap before
It's a lot different feel trust me . In both versions .Maj and sub park are not even close to it. Yeah a stout build with cap 26 specs and added 1/2 to full inch depending on size . I know you guys up north are tall lol. it would be the ultimate street beast. but I tell you ride yours for like a season then switch. All the strain you do trying on a lesser geo and nailing those tricks makes getting a bike like this so much more rewarding and you ride so smooth .
Yeah only prob is I ride half dirt and this is my first half season riding str I love park but I wouldn't give a stout str geo enough justice to buy one , and don't want to pay for a second bike , I've learnt a fair bit tho the last 2 weeks can't 180 again cuz so mch strain where my broken foot was but I've got some stuf down I want to try more different geo - builds before I'd build one also but this thing looks like alot of fun
I was gonna say just rock the 135 spacing in the rear and transfer the parts over to the new frame. This thing can jump well to dude. If you ever did trails with a bmx then it's just the same and some compared to a common dj set up. Once you get use to the HA and run the BB from 0 to 10 max using your selected travel as a guide . Its sweet. I am thinking of setting up a fox 36 at 60mm o4 40mm travel for it. It will keep the same geo. Sweet
Nah. I was thinkin for 26" for you lol.. I am gonna hit it the dirt with it till I set up the other bikes next year. Sherb's looks sick with the 36. Only reason why I would do it. If it looked ugly as hell I would do some other random fork Gonna see about scoring some KHE dirts too. The parks are ok but once the loose dirt they lose traction fast.
After Hendus problem I will never buy mac2s lol I want some dths those look dec but yeah sherbs bike looks sick all I would do after fork to this bike is get a sprocket same colour as stem and grips
yeah if you can check into the 2.15 dth is , the 2.3 is massive . Even fatter than it looks in everyone's pics. If I run those again I want the silkworm 2012 version. I killed a 2.15 dth last season pretty quick. Or the dmr supermoto tan walls. I think if all black pars with those would look sick!
I'll pick up the Eastern next time I go up to Pittsburgh, hopefully soon. It's a 5 hour drive for me. I have family there so it's not too bad though. What seat BTW?
I drove 4.5hrs from Whitehall to Knox to pick this one up The seat is a Hoffman B-rad. i don't even think these are for sale anymore. It's like a slim. I am thinking of changing to an animal though. With slims I had issues with the seat raking my leg when I spin. wana try something with slope on the side like the animal logo seat
