Selected by Ian Hylands - The size of this dam compared to the rider really shows in this shot, and the water flowing across the run in makes this whole thing a lot more amazing. I really like how the rider is sunlit in front of the shadows, it really helps to make him pop a little...
I'd call it fake, he'd have to have a shitload of speed to get that high, the water would have left tracks, and it looks mossy and slippery, I wouldn't ride across that at high speed...
I think that the tracks are probably so small they're hard to notice anyway, and the sun is creating glare on that white concrete. Idk, it's not fake though. Video was legit! This spot looks like fun
There are no tracks because he's using prototype Maxxis Moses tyres. They part any body of water that is in your way, giving you maximum traction and keeping you dry...
This is what biking stands for. Part of it. The other part for me is the Forest.. Dams and Forests. Very interesting..!!
The nature of a rider. That is what is caught here. Those of us that feel this way.. That need that alone time, just the sky, concrete and for me a free ride bike of some kind. Its just the nature of things. The temperament It should be appreciated. Not everyone has this in them, nor will everyone ever get to experience what this feels like. It is the independent spirit. May the spirit live on..
Awesome pic...
awesome urbanscape! I wish the rider was just a few feet higher to create a stronger separation. the combination of the color, reflection, exposure and the riders white shirt create great eye movement while still maintaining a strong subject.
For all the people that are jealous or just extremly stupid i was there and everything that you see is real, and who care about the lid we just have one life to live stunt it!
Best bank of all time!!!! And that saying alot because i live in the original land of banks. What about blasting off that skinny piece and gap to the big bank?
Its not even a good photo? Its taken squint and from looking at the video he didn't really do much. Just a fairly small tweaked air. It's a cool spot, but I'm not too stoked.
Well, I think this pics is popular (+38 000 views) because of the unusual landscape... Must be really cool to ride and it is also very different from what we are used to.
ok someone please answer this. Am I doing something wrong and missing where ever the f*ck POY is or has nobdy else seen the f*ckin thing either?!?!?!?!
DAAAMMMM!!! There's something "fishy" about this one. He's freakin way up the side of the wall but has no water marks from his tires, showing how he got up that high..
