 Yo i Just rode a double set up single speed with light components and it sucked for dirt jumping. Its was too heavy and would only be good for massive senders. And it sucked on the trail, bad geometry and not enough travel. I would try riding one before you buy it.

 yea definately 2 great bikes for 2 different styles of riding.

 and i'd get a blindside unless you want something really dirt-jump oriented. the blindside is just a good all around gravity bike.
