This is that trail I was talking about havin to push DH style for a bit - the last 2mi in is a strugglefest up steep switchbacks, but well worth the reward. Lots of hikers too, which kinda blows to brake check on the way out, but lots of interesting terrain from rocks to roots, etc - check it out www.singletracks.com/bike-trails/emerald-lake.html
