A POD if I've ever seen one......I saw a shot about a year ago using the same idea, except the picture was taken from a waterdrop falling from a piece of grass reflecting a person downhilling
sic photo for sure if i had to say i would think its real.look at how her eyelids block out the riders image.wich means there closer and it wasnt layered.its just a classic example of excelent work and great timing bye the photographer.i could be wrong but i think its great.it should be on an advertisment or commercial or something for a bike company.its awsome.i made it my background screensaver
Well you see one of the issues with it not being real is that the reflection as it goes into the whites of the eye should be blurred as well. So the only part of the reflection that would be sharp would in a line with the sharp eye lashes. Also, you expect to see distortion of the reflected image, the shape of the rider would be bent in an almost fisheye way as seen here: woofie2.pixiq.com/files/blog/smallaperture/uploads/2010/09/7-Eye-Reflection_265x300.jpg and another being the band of his body that is missing where the inclusion of the eye lashes has taken place, he should still be showing behind the eyelashes. Nonetheless, as i said in my comment a few days ago its a good attempt and i guess i still like it!
I think if it was completely true to how it should be, it wouldn't be as awesome of a picture. If you were to really capture a picture this way, it is highly unlikely that it would come out in a way that you would be able to see much of anything.
