Selected by Ian Hylands - Super stoked on the light airy illuminated feel of this shot with the bright backlit fog in the top half of the frame, and the dark green mossy bit in the bottom of the frame...
a deadly bubonic plague where all douche bags that dont know the correct lingo get there lips severed with a hack saw and ears mutilated with a cheese grater. thats what you've started, jordan!
looks like it might be shopped, the light wouldn't come to that crisp of an end, would fade out, and wouldn't be a straight line as the camera sees it as wheels have varying shapes and contours
-1 from me for making a 'shopped' comment. There is no photoshop here, if you look at the camera info you'll notice that the shutter speed is 1/250 which is a good indication that he used some flash.
This shot is screaming the North Shore to me. The fog creates a great feel. I really like the contrast of the bright, back lit fog to the dark rock. Plus the shadow detail is held nicely. I also really like the angles created from the log on the left and rock on the right.
Man, this one slipped by my eyes!! Ricardo- you deserve this so much dude!! This guy digs and digs and digs. And he shreds the gnar on a single crown FR bike. And Brad, this is simply awesome. Totally captures the feel of riding that wondrous mountain!! Cannot wait to shred with you guys!!!
