I meant I've never seen rigids like that before, only ones that are similar looking to bmx style fork. this to me looks like a suspension fork bottomed out or something it's neat

its a white bros carbon fork. the question is do you really need front suspension on a pump track...I'd say personal preferance, but there is really no need for suspension due to the fact your body is doing all the work, acting as suspension. And if you throw even a 80 or 100mm fork on there, it could mess up your groove.

 ahhh ok now I understand

Those white bros look scary but that a nice frame, what spec need to do is raise the bb to normal height, put a 80mm dj fork on and some decent riser bars and you got a real ht. Might want to raise the seat a bit also.

then you would just end up with the standard Specialized P.3... Facepalm

That a stump jumper frame, PROTOTYPE. I liked the old p3 before they started putting the bb on the ground.

if you read the article, its just a P.3 frame, built up with components to make it a specific pump track bike... its only a test that a specialized mechanic wanted to do, to see how good it was. they werent going to let him build a whole new frame...
