How do you go about painting rims? I have always wondered how to get a good finish with out making it look like dogshit

hmmm.. i always used to just tape the spokes up and then spin the wheel whilst spraying.. that way you get an even coverage i never put time into wheels because its a losing battle aha

thats exactly what i did with mine - just a tip to make it faster though, get some drinking straws and slit all the way down, slide each one on an individual spoke and tape at both ends works, but my back wheel is chipped to foooooook

Thanks for the tip, I usually tape the bottoms of the spokes and then just smash some news paper over the middle bit! Yeah they always chip in all fairness :/
