Birgit has a Marzo 55 on her Alutech Wildsau Trail XA bike, it's a wonderful fork for almost everything you can think of.

I think so too Manny, though this won't stay on this bike for much longer, as I bought a Fox Float 36 RC2 from 2007, to fit the Big Hit. This Marzo will sometimes be on my GT Force!

No brother...front fork. This 55 will be a spare fork to use on my GT Force sometimes. This rig has a very nice rear shock, a fox dhx 5.0

ok sorry mate.....what will you set the travel of the fork for the force at?
  • 1 0
When using this 55 I'll use the 160mm of travel Mick

thats gonna be very nice.....are you getting new or 2nd hand forks.

2nd bro, always, hahahahaha! I'm getting the grey verion from 2007, but it's nearly in mint condition. It's from a freind of mine from Portugal and he was extra carefull with the fork!

yes im always a 2nd hand kind of guy.No money being a Butcher hahahahaha.....i am looking at the new x-fusion forks or the marz 44's at 140mm........spent too much time getting info from the companies.I am just gonna search for a 2nd hand marz 44's now. There is nothing around as people keep them.

Life's just too expensive right now, right bro? Never had a 44...must be a killer fork! I'm super happy with the Talas 32 R on the Force with 110-130-150mm of travel, but I will fit the Marzo there, someday, just to see how it will work!

 Great story!
I think the 55 is awesome and will suit your force well.
I hope the fox arrives soon, but I like this set up too!
Does the big hit feel small with the 55 compared to the 66?
  • 1 0
A bit smaller bro, but a bit lighter as well, and more agile.
  • 2 0
Yes, My fox was set at 180mm and the cherry felt a bit cumbersome. Now, I lowered it to 165mm and bike feels a bit smaller and a lot more agile. Long is good but too long is not! hhhahah Im loving this set up!
