First Day of practice for CRC Nukeproof at the 2012 World Cup DH in South Africa and Matt Simmonds is straight into the speed tuck!

Selected by Ian Hylands - It's not often you see riders in full aero tucks on a World Cup DH course, usually they're trying to steer and stay in control or standing up pedaling like crazy. Pietermaritzburg is a little different...
This shot by Sebastian Schieck is beautifully framed, the out of focus areas and the tape draw you right in to the rider while providing pleasing composition with great thirds...
yes avoriaz to morzine is mental was riding with someone who was chainless and he overtook a car in full speed tuck hands behind his back, to be fair tho he was next to the car a very long time!!!
i was so suprised when i found how much faster you go but why shouldnt you go faster your massively reducing the amount of resistance and when your going fast that makes a massive difference
Brand new concept to me on the DH sector... haha It almost looks peaceful rather than fast, not too much giving that "movement" feeling. It's sick and has some awesome colors though!
if its practice why would you be wasting all your energy on pedalling as fast as you can when you can regain your stamina from resting in the most aerodynamic way
